Outrage?
And now, we are finally getting oversight and investigations by Congress. It is good that we are finally getting the oversight that this country should be, but the results of this pentagon report are disturbing (but not unexpected). Those of us who have known about Doug Feith and his group have long suspected that he was creating results that administration officials had wanted, even though the intelligence didn't support this.
If we add this report to the revelations in the Scooter Libby trial, it is becoming very clear that the Bush Administration has cooked the intelligence to back-up their case for war and were willing to expose a covert operative to smear critics and people who wanted to get to the truth.
Do I need to mention all of the money that was lost to corruption?
We have been misled into a war, the war has been disasteriously run, thousands of lives lost, billions of dollars spent and we are actually less safe and secure than we were before this war started. Where is the outrage?
